Written by Emily Gravett

Monkey and me,
Monkey and me,
Monkey and me,
We went to see...

A little girl and her toy monkey love imitating different animals, everything from jumping like kangaroos to waddling like penguins! Open this book and play along with them.

Can you guess what animal they are now? This book is recommended for children ages 4 and up. (Copyright © Simon & Schuster Books for Young Readers. All rights reserved.)

Emily Gravett has a rare talent indeed for creating exceptional books for children. She is the winner of two Kate Greenaway Awards, her skill and wit are second to none as she pushes the boundaries and wrings maximum fun and detail from every page.

Gravett first sprang into the limelight with the ground-breaking Wolves in 2005, which has been followed by such brilliant modern classics as Meerkat Mail (2006), Little Mouse's Big Book of Fears (2007), Monkey and Me (2007), Again! (2011) and the fabulous Bear and Hare series for younger readers, as well as the beautiful Tidy (2016). Each book is unique and different from the last - and each features endearing, beautifully drawn characters that touch the heart and tickle the funny bone.

Gravett lives in Brighton with her family.
